SMAWL (St. Mary's Animal Welfare League) Pet Fair on Saturday May 10, 2008 at the St. Mary's County Fairgrounds. We'll be there to meet and greet and would love to see you there! Stop by our booth and say hello! Tri-County Animal Shelter Southern Maryland Pet Expo: Stop by and mingle with us on May 3, 2008, at the Calvert County Fairgrounds in Prince Frederick. Show hours are 9 am - 4 pm. A great opportunity to meet the folks who work so hard to care for the pet needs in Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary's Counties. Thanksgiving and Christmas 2007 Dates: Space for these periods are now "Waiting List" only. Remember to reserve your Thanksgiving and Christmas dates BEFORE the end of summer each year. Dates for 2008 are already filling as well.....call us soon for your prefered pet lodging reservations for 2008! The "Chessie" Lodge at Chesapeake Pet Resort is our popular and unique deluxe cabin. Reservations for 2008 are now being accepted! This Deluxe Nautical Themed Detached Cabin offers many ammenities from home, including clean fresh bedding complete with a boat bed, a private deck with kiddie pool, private covered fenced play yard, radio, and night Lights! Call today or stop by for a tour! Halloween Pet Photos at The Resort! Don't forget to sign up for your pet to have their photo taken, complete with a costume and Halloween decorations! A very cute "extra" for pets visiting us! Customers New to Pet Boarding: Chesapeake Pet Resort welcomes new customers and new pet owners! We encourage anyone interested in pet lodging to stop by and visit us anytime during business hours for a tour and to meet our staff...no appointment necessary! It is always a good idea to tour any potential facility if you are considering leaving your pets while you travel. Be sure to ask lots of questions and tour the entire facility you are investigating. Indoor-Outdoor runs are a preferred option for most of our customers, as canine guests can go in or out all day as they please, weather permitting. We also include 4 or more play yard times per day with your lodging rate! Best advice is to choose a facility where you are comfortable with the accomodations and staff, and one that is recommended by local Veterinarians and your friends. Be sure to look (or sniff), for things like cleanliness, ventilation, pet bedding, Central Heat and AC, Indoor-Outdoor Runs with included playtime, and most of all how the pets seem to be doing in their environment... do pets in residence seem happy and content, or sad and scared, cowering in a corner? Your pets will let you know either way, by their response when you pick them up for home, which hopefully will be wagging tails and happy eyes! Holiday Pet Photos with Santa at The Resort! Don't forget to sign up for your pet to have their photo taken with Santa, while lodging with us during the Christmas Season! A very cute "extra" for pets visiting us!
